Description:
Constructs, repairs, restores and installs structures such as floors, doors, walls, windows, stairways, furniture, cabinets, shelves, roofs and related material.
Operates and performs preventative maintenance on hand and power saws, planers, lathes, joiners, shapers, drills, sanders and variety of hand tools.
Installs locks, knobs, hinges, closures, and other fixtures to structures.
Texturing and polishing blocks of stone, installing dressed stone, mixing cement and mortar, and restoring old and damaged masonry works.
Measures accurately and calculate dimensions, as well as read blueprints. Lifts and carries heavy objects.
Uses modern power tools and traditional hand tools/equipment in carpentry and masonry.
Performs preventative maintenance work as required.
