Full Job Description
The Drafter will use building information modelling software such as Revit to create a 3D visual plan for a project. Building information models are virtual files used to aid decision-making during the building process.
JOB DUTIES
- Conduct initial file setup.
- Prepare interior joinery documentation.
- Prepare 3D modelling land surveys and topography.
- Generate detailed site context plans.
- Model existing dwellings and other detailed construction drawings.
- Work with project team members on specific aspects of the project, ensuring all relevant standards and guides are used in accordance with quality processes.
- Use Revit to create 3D plans for projects.
- Understand the project scope and its requirements.
- Determine key design variables for projects.
- Report possible issues with the design that may cause problems in the construction phase.
- Perform other related duties as required.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent.
- 3-4 years’ experience in Residential Construction and/or Interior Design.
- Experience as a CAD and/or Revit Modeller / Drafter or similar role.
- Familiar with Australian standards and building codes.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Results-based, customer-focused, and strong attention to detail.

Working Schedule : Monday to Friday 6AM to 3PM / Work onsite only!
