Accounting Manager

Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contribute to the development and refinement of the company's growth and vision strategies, as well as increasing profits through prudent financial practices and monitoring and enforcing compliance with finance-related laws, procedures, and regulations such as tax filing and financial reporting.

• Oversee the operations and development of the company's finance departments, including policy development and review, budgeting, recruiting, training, and conducting regular financial procedures assessments.

• Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, as well as the monitoring and enforcement of tax and financial reporting standards compliance and the assistance with cash flow forecasting.

• Create strategic business plans based on an examination of the company's current situation and projected financials.

• Oversee end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, improvements to procedures and controls, and ad hoc projects and requests as they arise.

• Handle any other responsibilities that are in line with the role or that the Executive or Management Team may assign from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant
• Minimum 5 years of progressive work experience in a Supervisory / Managerial position
• Extensive knowledge in Accounting
• Proficient in MS Office especially in Excel
• Above average leadership and interpersonal skills
• Organized, detail-oriented and result-oriented
