Description:

Job Descriptions:

1. Give accurate and timely counsel to business in a variety of legal matters

2. Draft and review agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights

3. Research and evaluate different legal matters regarding business decisions and operations

4. Advise Company on any new laws, regulations or statues, which will have impact on its business operations and corporate functions

5. Familiar with Philippines law system and maintain current knowledge of alternations in Financial legislation, especially in FinTech

6. Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice to management on possible legal issues or new regulations impacting the company

7. Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external legal counsel, public authority etc.) regarding legal and regulatory matters

8. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for businesses.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum Bachelor Degree in Law Major,

having license to practice law is preferable, experienced as attorney/lawyer would be an advantage

2. Required language(s): able to use English as working language

3. At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position,

candidate who has financial background, especially FinTech is preferable

4. Required Skill(s): legal opinion, research, corporate law, foreign investment law, Financial legislation, document drafting and reviewing, contract law

Personnel competency:

2. Good communication skills and knowledge

3. Good practical legal skills and knowledge

4. Reliable and responsible, flexible, innovative and vibrant, proactive and self-motivated

5. Having working experience in financial industry, Fintech is preferred.
