Finance Manager (Banking)

Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Play an integral part by contributing to the development and refinement of the company’s growth and vision strategies and increase profit through prudent financial practices and monitoring and enforcing compliance with finance-related laws, procedures and regulations such as tax filing and financial reporting.
• Oversee the operations and development of the company's finance departments, including the creation and review of policies, budgeting, recruiting, training, and conducting regular financial procedures assessments.
• Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce tax and financial reporting standards compliance, and assist with cash flow forecasting.
• Create strategic business plans based on an analysis of the company's current situation and financial projections.
• Oversee end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, procedures and controls improvements, and ad hoc projects and requests as they arise.
• Handle any other duties that are consistent with the role or that the Executive or Management Team may assign from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Finance or Accounting in the banking industry or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Finance Manager or relevant managerial role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate to Advanced Skills in Project Management Tools
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Product Suite
• Intermediate to Advanced Skills in Project Management Tools, an advantage
