What you’ll be doing:

• Meticulously perform month-end and quarter-close procedures to guarantee reportings are in accordance with the US GAAP

• Prepare month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supports schedules to give reliable insights into the company’s financial health.

• Serve as a backup on month-end duties assigned to other team members to ensure uninterrupted reporting

• Offer a deeper understanding of financial data that will guide the company’s strategic decisions and future planning.

• Proactively help in enhancing efficiency, refining processes, and minimizing potential errors by identifying issues and areas for improvement

• Uphold standards and controls to ensure data integrity, guarding it against inaccuracies and risks.

• Be involved in supporting fixed assets, prepayments, T&E, credit cards, bank reconciliations, and other processes.

• Assist with the annual audit process including both the readiness and execution, including preparation of supporting audit schedule to provide auditors with organized data for accurate assessments.

• Assist with and/or complete ad hoc projects as requested such as Research and document issues, special projects, and Audit requests.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience: A proven track record of 4-5 years in US accounting functions, directly engaging with corporate accounting and month-end close processes.

• Education: Holding a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance lays the foundation for your expertise. A CPA qualification or its equivalent would be a distinct advantage, showcasing your commitment to professional excellence.

• Detail-Oriented: Meticulousness defines you. Your strong attention to detail, coupled with your ability to uncover discrepancies and devise effective solutions, ensures precision in financial analysis.

• Initiative and Impact: A true "self-starter," you're fueled by a can-do attitude. Your genuine desire to leave a positive mark on the client amplifies your contributions.

• Financial Expertise: You're well-versed in U.S. GAAP, and can decipher intricate financial intricacies with ease. Experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close processes, and specialized areas like prepaid, fixed assets.

• Tech-Savviness: Your proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, streamlines your work. Familiarity with tools like NetSuite, FloQast, and Jira is a noteworthy advantage, showcasing your adaptability.

• Communication Skills: Your written and oral communication skills are exceptional.
