Description:

Job Description

  • Preparation and/or review of legal documents, affidavits, contracts, legal correspondence and other documents related to legal matters.
  • Review of pleadings, appeals, other legal documents.
  • Manages the legal department including legal liaison personnel, to ensure timely processing of permits, licenses and title transfer.
  • Assists HR with legal requirements and investigations, e.g. reviews critical investigation reports on personnel where serious misconduct is involved, advises on legal concerns.
  • Represents the company in various government agencies such as LGU, HLURB, DENR, BIR, Registry of Deeds, DOLE, NLRC, SENA, Courts of Law, etc.
  • Plans and formulates and implements strategies for the timely release of permits and licenses and transfer of titles
  • Resolve any disputes, findings and problems encountered by the department in connection with the permits and licenses and title transfer transaction.
  • Handle all regulatory filings and corporate compliance requirements.
  • Preserves, organizes and maintains all corporate legal records and documents.
  • Monitor progress status of the transaction to ensure timely issuance/releasing of the application.
  • Manages the cases and coordinates with the company’s external counsels.
  • Meeting with clients, attorneys, and other professionals on legal matters.
  • Recommends legal policies and processes to management for best practices. Helps implement the same. (ex. Data privacy law implementation, etc.)

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Arts in Legal Management, Law and related course.
  • With at least 2-year experience in a paralegal role.
  • Experience in preparing legal reports.
  • Good analytical skills and strong Investigative and research skills.
