Clinic Nurse

●     Must be board passer

   Performs vital sign measurements and assists doctors and patients during consultations

●        Performs clinic procedures not limited to vaccinations, pap smears, ECG taking, phlebotomy, and other procedures that are part of the nursing profession.

●        Verifies patients by reading patient identification.

●        Maintains specimen integrity by using aseptic technique, following department procedures; observing isolation procedures.

●        Maybe assigned to community sites for vaccination, phlebotomy, and testing services

●        Provide pre-vaccination education and disseminate clear, consistent, and accurate information about the vaccine including common side effects

●        Talk to individuals about barriers to receiving the vaccine and support problem solving

●        Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.

●        Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.

●        Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

●        Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations
