General Scope of Responsibilities
- To work with the Head of Operations, HR Manager and Employee
- Engagement Officer to ensure that all internal communications related to OSH awareness are effectively communicated.
- Keep employees informed about Mental Health and HMO providers and function as the authorized Mental and Physical Health Officer and serve as the POC for both providers.
- Analyze statistical and utilization reports and incorporate it into engagement programs that are most suitable to the general mental and physical health state of the organization and business needs.
- Assist the government inspectors in the conduct of safety and health inspection at any time whenever work is being performed or during the conduct of an accident investigation by providing necessary information and OSH reports as required by the OSH standards
- Create emergency workplace preparedness plans.
- Secure and develop all records, equipment, and programs related to occupational health services.
- Proactively ensure up-to-date knowledge of and compliance with OH&S policies and procedures and participate in their further development by identifying risks and escalating them appropriately. Observe company policies.
- Submission of Monthly and Annual OSH reports to DOLE Regional Office
- Prepare Work Accident/Illness Exposure Data Report, Annual Medical Report, and report of safety organization and update OSH program as necessary
- Coordinate with resource persons to conduct mandatory training on Occupational Safety and Health and Workplace Safety and Health Policies in the New Employees’ Orientation Create, organize and facilitate company-wide fun activities and articles to promote the sound mental health of employees
- Review and update existing policies and executes compliance requirements mandated by DOLE
- Provide awareness and training to reduce exposure to health and safety hazards even when working from home.
- Make sure to carry out appropriate hazard identification, risk evaluation, prevention, and control.
