Data Engineer / SQL Server Database Developer

What you'll be doing

• Enhancement and maintenance of existing data warehouse

• Data mart development and support

• Creating new reports to help support the business

• Maintenance and support of the existing reporting portfolio

• Requirements gathering

• Action on other tasks or duties due to business exigencies or as deemed necessary by the client to achieve business goals

Minimum Requirements

• 7+ years experience in data modeling

• 5+ years experience in SQL Server Database administration

• Experience with database performance management

• Experience developing for or supporting Microsoft's SQL ServerBusiness Intelligence (BI) studio

• Experience developing for SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

• Experience developing for SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

• Advanced Experience with SQL Server Database Administration; performance tuning

• Strong SQL Server Development skills – Working with stored procedures, functions, and views. Query, index tuning and data normalization are also important.

• Working with Data warehouses / Data marts and experience with star scheme
