IT Officer

Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate, plan, and lead computer-related activities for the contact center site and determine the IT needs and is responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfill the company's information systems requirements.
• Monitor performance of information technology system to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations and for improving the IT infrastructure.
• Recommending upgrades and enhancements to top management, explaining the key benefits of new tech-based investments for the business.
• Identifying opportunities for IT training and developing classes that will equip employees to make the best use of the products and systems available.
• Developing and overseeing the IT policy, security measures and best practices for the company.
• Handle any other duties, consistent with the role, or duties as required from time to time by the Chief Executive Officer.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience infrastructures in a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), an advantage
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.
• Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
• Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
• Strong capabilities with database and information systems software
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Product Suite.
• Can speak above average in English, and Filipino.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
