System Support Staff - Project-based

The Application Developer is a member of System Support team in Shared Services Center. The position is responsible for technical design, development, testing and support of PeopleSoft Financials Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Workflows (RICEW Objects).

The Application Developer will participate in any architectural design of assigned application modules. With input from peers, functional staff and managers, the incumbent will document requirements, prepare technical design and test plans, perform unit testing and integration testing, and work with peers to develop PeopleSoft solutions to support business needs.

Job Responsibility

• Collect, document and finalize functional specifications.
• Analyze, document and finalize technical design of solution to meet the functional specifications.
• Coordination of vendor application upgrades to environments with functional leads.
• Document and finalize unit, integration and user acceptance test plans. Perform unit and integration testing.
• Research, identify and recommend of technical resources, best practices for PeopleSoft application development.
• Identify application bugs and work with Oracle on resolution/workaround. Develop bug-fixes.
• Coordinate and support functional teams during user acceptance testing.
• Provide feedback to functional teams and Application Development Manager on the timeline, status, risks/issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology
• 2-3 years of experience designing, coding, testing, maintaining, and supporting PeopleSoft 9.1 applications using PeopleTools and SQL tools, application of PeopleSoft Patches and Bundles
• 2-3 years of experience in PeopleSoft Implementation, Upgrade and Support experience.
