Job Title:         Operation Manager (Sheet Metal/Metal Stamping)

DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-

Summary: We are looking for an experienced candidate with strong background to oversee operational activities in Sheet Metal and Stamping precision environment.

Have excellent leadership skills to lead teams in achieving departmental goals in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and other Plant goals and KPIs.

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers and customers.

Job functions as required below:-

1 Manage and allocate resources, equipment and materials for  Sheet Metal/Grinding, Fabricating, Machine setup, shears, brakes, bending, punch and drill presses to cut, bend and straighten sheet metal.

2 Adjust equipment capacity to meet customer demands.

3 Develop and set-up system structures according to standards and customer specification.

4 Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis and risk assessments to support development and implementation for new product portfolios.

5 Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine conformed part placement.

6 Track performance and delegate project tasks to staff workers.

7 Prepare schedules and co-ordinate with close monitoring on assigned engineering projects, new projects to meet deadlines.

8 Develop strategic, operating targets, budgets and cost savings to improve effectiveness of operation.

9 Advise and interact with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements.

10 Review defective parts and initiate necessary corrective actions to attain Quality expectations from customers.

11 Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies and advancements in metal stamping processes to enhance organizational capabilities.

Qualifications and required skills:

1 Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or  extensive related experience in CNC equipments and  sheet metals laser cut equipment.

2 Good knowledge of metal stamping  processes, tooling design and tooling fabrication etc

3 Ability to trouble-shoot, analyse to  solve  practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.

4 Proficiency in CAD software, Solid Work, Inventor and other drawing softward applications.

5 Good interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.

6 Must be motivated and able to work on own initiative.

7 Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyse complex technical issues.
