Description:
potential, financials and evaluating options Working closely with Key decision makers,
purchasers, to build the brand and generate leads, secure specifications and projects, to
ultimately deliver the agreed level of sales volume and profits
Preparing action plans to identify new customers and projects , actively and effectively
searching out new leads and sales prospects
Building/maintaining strong relationships with customers
Providing solution-oriented advice and price proposals on lighting offers
Providing regular sales forecast and project pipeline updates
Maintaining CRM records for all contacts, projects and activities and develop new
customer base and sustain existing business by periodic customer meeting, conducting
various customer trials and managing effective customer intimacy, thereby, Building and
managing good customer relationships to ensure long term business engagement
Providing feedback on the evolving customer demands in the local lighting market
Understanding competitive landscape and key market drivers, support the company
strategy thus ensuring sustainable growth of the product/service portfolio
Prepare sales plan with a road map to achieve planned business objective through
identification and tapping new business opportunities; with profit responsibility.
To performs sales activities for various customers, prepare business proposals and
present them to prospective customers, managing the customer cycle from
demonstrations to following up for payments
To Applying and following up on Tenders
To ensure Sales Targets are achieved as per assigned product and region/key accounts
wise, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual targets, through managing the effective sales
strategy and follow-up to ensure accomplishment of sales operational plans.
Close new business deals by coordinating requirements. Developing and negotiating
contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
To assess the various information tools, identify business opportunities and pinpoint
bottleneck areas to further increase sales volume, market share and profitability
To prepare and recommend sales budget and monitor financial performance verses the
budget to ensure business alignment.
To prepare all applicable reports in time for accuracy and in order to ensure that they
match the functional requirements, policies and standards.
• Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with
company strategies and operations
• Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time
Requirements
• A degree in a technical and/or business discipline, and/or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 3-year experience in technical sales, ideally in the lighting industry,
health and safety, with a demonstrable record of success
• Professional knowledge and experience in a B2B environment, with established
customer database
• Customer service and result-oriented approach, ability to work under pressure
• Strong organisational, project management and analytical skills
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills and experience in implementing sales plans
• High interpersonal and communication skills and positive personal energy
• With valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for business meetings, product
training/launch activity, with personal car preferred
