Description:
OB RESPONSIBILITY:
- To plan for furniture purchase and follow up on delivery base on company’s plan;
- To be involved in procurement cycle such as purchase requisition, purchase order & delivery order
- To document & control daily purchase records & data entry
- Liaise with suppliers and staffs from branches and warehouses in the purchasing processes.
- To follow up with suppliers on any issue pertaining to quality and new purchase;
- Ensure supplier consistently deliver on time with high quality of goods / services
- Manage the sourcing of new supply bases for competitive pricing, quality and reliable products
- Undertake other special assignments assigned by Management
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Preferably someone with minimum 2 years working experience in Purchasing/Procurement in furniture Industry or related industry
- Candidate must possess at least a degree in any discipline or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft applications and good communication, negotiation skills and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
