Job Description:

The Compensation Manager is responsible for:

·         The design and implementation of country compensation programs of moderate complexity and scale for the different workforces, ensuring consistency of programs across workforces in line with global guidelines, testing designs to validate applicability to local market situations, and providing guidance and direction on the implementation of country compensation programs.  

·         Develop and execute HR strategies, programs and services across one or more parts of the employee lifecycle to attract, develop and retain a highly engaged and differentiated workforce that enables the execution of human capital and business strategies

·         Manage service delivery of Compensation, Comp Admin, Benefits, and Pensions Admin functions. Overall accountability of delivery, prioritization and escalation across all teams. Design, build and communicate HR programs, policies, processes and practices that deliver long term HR strategy and support business goals. Conduct internal and external market research and analysis to plan compensation and benefits and ensure its relevance, competitiveness and affordability.

·         Develops and maintains relationships with contacts from external compensation consultants as well as executives from internal groups, serves as primary country compensation advisor, resolves compensation design and implementation issues, and sets near term goals for the country’s compensation programs. Conducts validation of data  with  HRSS  to ensure  consistency in the implementation  of salary changes, bonuses and other variable pay.

·         Plan and develop short-term and mid-term compensation strategy for the country.

·         Ensure that compensation programs developed are aligned with current company business strategy and conditions and lead the design of compensation plans in the country.

·         Partner with Global and Geo Council Compensation personnel on design and implementation of global programs such as Variable Pay Program. 

·         Review indicators and other parameters   that will have potential impact to the company business strategy and conditions.

·         Ensure that Global Compensation guiding principles are followed consistently within the country assuring that labor laws requirements are respected and implemented.

·         Facilitate the approval of all country compensation plans.

·         Address strategic compensation issues and concerns with Compensation and Benefits Sr.  Manager and HR Leadership; negotiate solutions and influence change, in line with desired direction.

·         Lead all activities relative to the annual salary administration process and ensure budget parameters are achieved.

·         Identify and select external partners and collaborate in order to obtain and release appropriate compensation survey data to the market, and internally and other joint initiatives.

·         Establish the necessary controls to ensure strict adherence to compensation guidelines and principles.

·         Validate data prior to upload to HRSP to ensure consistency in the implementation of salary changes, bonuses and variable pay.

·         Lead some initiatives related to compensation programs design and planning.

·         Can be rotated to Benefits planning tasks as the need arises.

·         The Compensation Manager is responsible for the management of total rewards planning and design, salary structure development, salary calibration, internal and external total rewards and  salary administration related to the annual review process and real time promotion, salary implementation audit and total rewards communication.
