Senior Accountant
We are currently looking to hire a full-time experience professional for the position of Senior Accountant for our office in Kuala Lumpur.
The ideal candidate is an individual with high integrity and strong communication skills with experience in producing and maintaining high quality of financial records. The individual will be responsible for the establishment of an independent financial reporting structure which includes maintaining accurate book, financial entries and preparation of the accounts and financial reporting for the holding company, its subsidiaries and associated companies, local and overseas.
The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in partnering with the senior management in decision making and operations within the Company. They shall be responsible for overseeing the financial functions towards driving best practices within the organisation to maximize efficiency and growth.

Job Description
Preparation of timely and accurate accounts, budgeting and managing financial information on a monthly and yearly basis.
Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors.
Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting.
Implement a robust contracts management and financial management/ reporting system; ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements.
Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices.
Effectively communicate and present the critical financial matters to management.
Draft correspondence as required.
Any ad hoc accounting or administrative tasks not listed above, necessary to the smooth running of the Company.

Experience & Skills
Degree or Diploma in Accounting.
At least 6 years of overall professional experience.
Proficiency in English, Bahasa Melayu and/or Mandarin Chinese would be an added advantage.
Knowledge of accounting regulation and procedures.
IT skills, with experience in the use of accounting software.
Strong attention to details and good analytical skills.
Strong organization and problem-solving skills which support and enable sound decision making.
Excellent communication skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to the organization.
Strong leadership & managerial skills.
Highly organized and efficient.
Team player with the ability to work independently.
