Logistics Supervisor

We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor who is in charge in organizing the distribution of goods and coordinating with staff.  Helps in supervising the Management Team with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and ensures an efficient warehouse operation in achieving business targets. Manages and oversees the overall process of Warehouse.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Assists in ensuring that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the company's procedures and requirements
• Manages activities related to inventory control, warehousing, receiving and releasing
• Responsible for overseeing the correct records for the IN and OUT transactions
• Conducts physical inventory - cycle counts, random and the daily count. Compares results with the SAP inventory and conduct an initial investigation for any discrepancies
• Manage logistics operations efficiently, ensure accountable, timely and cost-effective release of peacekeeping cargos along with personnel
• Arrange warehouse, plan routes and process shipments
• In charge of daily logistics dispatches
• Ensures that products are strictly scheduled and delivered on time
• Monitoring warehouse employees work base on time consuming
• Keeps a comprehensive record of receiving documents and items
• Documents are maintained orderly and are made available for inspection and audit
• Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity
• Process all logistics operation requests and concerns
• Lead follow up and resolve customer concerns
• Performs other duties of similar level of skill and complexity that may be assigned by the immediate superior
• Collaborates with other department to help develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of the warehouse practices
• Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds
• Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment
• Assigns workloads to warehouse workers in day-to-day activities
• Develops efficient and effective ways to deal with warehouse concerns
• Motivates all warehouse employees and foster a good working spirit and teamwork

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Industrial), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Logistics/Transportation or equivalent.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in Transport/Fleet Management, warehousing, inventory management and distribution and preferably Supervisor specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
• Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Expert knowledge of best driving, delivery, vehicle maintenance and other industry practices.
• Understand of basic vehicle mechanics, including the ability to identify when repair is needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
• Problem-solving skills.

• Willing to work in Antipolo, Rizal.
