SITE ENGINEER

Requirement:

1 ) Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental and able to speak and write Bahasa Malaysia and English

2 ) Experience : preferably work in water treatment industry for 2 years above

Responsibilities:

- Review and verification of daily operation and maintenance activities and confirm required manpower levels are maintained. Arranges support as required on daily and weekly basis

-  Verifies conformance of customer standards

-  Assuring all employees/manpower are technically trained for systems listed

-  Working directly with system owners to confirm that all performed work is properly permitted and coordinated 

-  Attending weekly meetings and other scheduled meetings as needed to communicate and improve operations and maintenance activities.

-  Updates and presents weekly status report

-  Providing monthly (more frequently if needed) reporting of operation and maintenance activities to confirm completion and note items for corrective action.

-  Direct involvement in system modifications, operational changes, or installation, process troubleshooting and addition of new or replaced equipment

-  Monthly system analysis data including capacity/demand and system efficiency.

-  Implementation of improvements in reliability based and predictive maintenance efforts

- Monitors, maintains, and reports at least monthly on the spares inventory provided reporting system

- Development, execution, and monitoring of skills training programs and refresher courses for employees including required training

- Documentation and reporting of interruptions, injuries, equipment downtimes, and related problems including explanations and corrective actions as applicable

- Updates and improvements in use of CMMS system (FMS) for job plans for PM and CM work 

- Development/improvement of standard operating procedures, and system sequences of operation for operators and technicians

- Work with facilities personnel to support internal and external audit and help to correct audited deviation.

- Makes recommendations to improve service and any potential cost reduction opportunities

- Works any customer service issues in a professional manner & proactively cultivates positive relations
