POSITION: DEISEL/TRUCK MECHANIC
REPORTING TO: Fleet and Transport Supervisor
WORK CONDITION: On-Site
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Inspecting and repairing or replacing delivery truck engines and transmissions
• Repair or replacement of steering and braking systems
• Vehicle testing to determine vehicle condition
• Performing diagnostic tests
• Analyzes and interprets test results correctly
• Keeping detailed records on serviced vehicles
• Maintaining a record of parts inventory and vehicle maintenance tools
• Keeping the motorpool clean and organized
• Handles routine repairs such as oil and tire changes and other truck flaws.
• Can carry out overhauling
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of a High School Diploma o College Level with TESDA Related course
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as Diesel Mechanic
• Valid driver’s license/Can drive big truck
• Proficiency with maintenance tools and repair truck equipment
• With TESDA NC II-- Automotive Servicing or any certificate related to the job is an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical, and other systems and their components
• Team player and Strong diagnostic skills
