Backlink QA

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Backlink QA to join our growing team. Ideal candidate should have really strong email and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to research, compile data and stay organized.

What you’ll be doing

• Conduct contact research for our link-building campaigns via third-party tools

• Maintain organized Google spreadsheets with 200+ contacts per campaign

• Leverage third-party platforms to schedule and launch email outreach campaigns

• Monitor an email inbox for all campaign email responses

• Record email response data via Google spreadsheets

• Answer additional emails regarding link-building requests and collaborations, following

SEO best practices

• Utilize third-party PR platforms to identify additional link-building opportunities and

contacts

• Email PR contacts to facilitate link-building collaborations

• Assist with additional SEO research-based projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in off-page SEO tasks (email outreach, link-building research, etc.)

• Well-versed in PR-based outreach and link-building

• Versatile and practical written and verbal communication skills

• Extremely organized, efficient, and detail-oriented

• Ability to juggle multiple projects at once and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of SEO research tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc).

• Past experience with email outreach platforms is preferred (Ex: BuzzStream)

• Comfortable communicating with the UpCity SEO team via Slack and Zoom

• Experience with project management tools is a plus (Trello, Asana, etc.)

• SMB/B2B experience is a plus
