Job Responsibilities
1. Ensure the timely procurement of raw materials, consumables or services with the right quality and at a competitive cost
2. Receive and process purchase requisitions from all the requesting departments which should include all the required specifications of materials or services to be purchased
3. Sourcing supplier for comparison and negotiation.
4. Recommend qualified supplier in compliance with the requirements needed to the Purchasing Manager
5. Negotiate cost, terms of payment and delivery schedule of the items being sourced out
6. Prepare purchase order based on the approved supplier
7. Coordinate with the IMPEX section in case of farming in and out of materials and/or equipments, and attend with the concerns related to description, specification, and quantity of items delivered to Warehouse section
8. Conduct daily monitoring and follow up of items ordered and update of items received versus purchase order issued
9. Prepare monthly reports related to procurement activities
Job Requirements
1. A graduate of 4 years business course or Industrial Engineering course
2. Purchasing/ Procurement related experience in a manufacturing company for at least 3 years
3. Impex related work is an advantage but not required
4. Ability to work quickly, accurately and independently in a fast faced environment
5. Knowledgeable of purchasing procedures with strong negotiation skills
6. Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
7. Knowledge in Oracle system is an advantage but not required
