QA Manager - Masai Johor

Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery
• Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products
• Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff
• Specifying quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers
• Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits
• Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with ISO 22000 and Halal standards
• Overall responsibility for performing all duties in compliance with related legal/statutory regulations, professional duties, responsibilities and obligations and insert as applicable e.g. ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, Halal, Mesti, etc
• Responsible for internal and external audits
• Carrying out and monitoring testing and inspection of products and materials to ensure the finished product meets quality standards
• Liaising with customer on complaints & feedbacks
• Resolve quality issue raised internally & externally
• Trains and motivates employees to ensure that quality standards are met
• Supervising technical or laboratory staff
• Assist in the recruiting process
• Training, motivating, coaching, and correcting employees to ensure that standards are met
• Review processes in order to ensure that they align with current trends
• Any other duties assigned by the management

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferable
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the manufacturing industry is required for this position
• Required language(s): English, Mandarin & Bahasa Malaysia
• Ability to analyze data and create and review processes
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Willingness to assist other departments to develop solutions and metrics
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
• Familiarity with FSSC as company will be applying for this certification in future.
• Working hour: Monday – Saturday (8.00am – 5.00pm)
