Cost accountant (Manufacturing) - Batu Berendam Me

Responsibilites:

• Provide financial analysis and support operation with costing matter such as product costing, determine standard cost and investigate variances with actual costs.

• Compute product costing for existing and new products

• Monitor changes in processes or methods to calculate effects on overall costs

• Identifies issues and proactively makes recommendations supported by financial analysis findings/outcome

• Attention to details and with sense of business acumen and curiosity, self-driven person who able to work independently with minimum supervision, strong analytical, comprehension & problem solving skills

• To review product pricing, margin analysis for new and existing products for The Management

• To analyze changes in BOM due to changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost

• To work on SOP, system improvement and development in ERP System in stock and costing related issues

• To ensure timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of inventory

• To monitor KPI and comment

• To manage stock take or cycle count, prepare stock take report, analyse and follow up on the stock discrepancies

• To support audit matter relates to costing and inventory

• To handle Group Budget and Forecast

• To handle Fixed Assets related issues

• Approve annual leave and other request related to human resource management.

• Review annual staff performance.

Requirements:

• Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA with relevant working experience

• 6-8 years related work experience.

• Able to manage the Group’s costing related functions
