Electrical Engineer Estimator

Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, passionate person who will be responsible for overseeing and delivering electrical tender packages and providing technical support to the electrical tendering and projects teams.

JOB DUTIES :

• Deliver competitive and profitable estimates and tender submissions for small and large-scale construction, mining, commercial and industrial projects.
• Estimate works and follow up on submissions.
• Complete and coordinate all relevant information relating to submissions.
• Engage with and build relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Liaise with team members, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Work alongside the project delivery team to ensure assignments are completed smoothly and on time.
• Effectively manage time and processes.
• Ensure a continual forward workload of tender enquiries and estimates.
• Respond to Expressions of Interest.
• Perform other related duties as required.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar electrical estimating position
• Commercial and industrial experience.
• Proficient in CAD systems and/or Estimating software.
• An excellent understanding of electrical standards.
• Must have experience from tendering to project execution.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients’ suppliers, subcontractors, and internal employees.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand tender drawings and specifications.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
• Strong work ethic and a team player.

LOCATION : Unit 1E, Philexcel Business Park Annex, (turn right before Sapangbato gate) Clark Freeport Zone, 2023

Our client is an electrical subcontracting company operating in the greater Auckland area and throughout the North Island. They provide a 24/7 electrical service that caters to commercial, residential, and industrial settings. They also offer solar panels, EV chargers, lighting requirements and installations, and electrical for mechanical and BMS controls.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Php30,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month

• Angeles City, Pampanga: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
