Job Description:
1. Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations
2. Participate in regular tax audits and payroll
3. Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues
4. Manage month-end and year-end closing
5. Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department
6. Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records
7. Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives
8. Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company’s targets
9. Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
10. Coordinates with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Accounting certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) is a plus
• Proven working experience as Accounting Officer or Supervisor
• Expert-level analytical and financial modeling skills
• Strategic thinking
• Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills
• Ability to influence and persuade
• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
• Knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies is a plus
• Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments
• Excellent time management and organizational ability
• Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines• Willingness to work long hours, when necessary.
