Job Summary:
The Payroll Personnel is responsible for the effective and efficient end to end processing of employees’ pay every 15th and end of the month and all other related tasks. He/She also prepares, reviews and reconciles payroll management information reports such as leave reports, payroll tax and other reconciliations as directed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Processes payroll of employees. Ensures that salaries are accurate and credited on time. Prepares employees’ pay slip.
· Sends copy of journal vouchers and payroll/expense register to concerned offices. Returns RF abstract and deposit/loan abstract to concerned personnel
· Inputs the details of the number of days, revolving fund deductions and non-routine payroll information. Processes, prints and updates payroll register.
· Prepares bank advice and payroll file diskette, payroll journal vouchers and request for payment for signature.
· Facilitates the processing of SSS and Pag-IBIG loans. Responds to routine inquiries pertaining to SSS and Pag-IBIG loan statuses, outstanding loan balances, etc.
· Checks the penalties entered, overtime pay, accuracy of non-routine payroll information as well as individual amounts contained in the RF abstract.
· Performs other tasks assigned.
