Full Stack Developer Magento 2

Job description

The Fullstack Developer - Magento 2 develops, primarily responsible for producing quality designs and implements new or modified ongoing business projects. They also import forms and reports into the current system.

· Write well-documented, high performance and maintainable code.

· Develop and deploy ecommerce sites using Magento 2.

· Frontend development implementing the design provided by UI/UX team.

· Develop Magento 2 extensions that communicates with 3rd party APIs.

· Manage the optimization of existing code and provide recommendations to improve performance.

· Additional duties as assigned.

· Professional experience developing an e-commerce site using Magento 2.

· Ability to clearly understand the goal and take ownership of the product.

· Creatively solve complex problems

· Contribute to internal initiatives such as improving our development processes

QUALIFICATIONS:

· 2+ years of experience in web development, including maintenance programs, integrations, and servers

· Very comfortable in HTML/CSS, Javascript & JQuery, Git, SASS or LESS, PHP, SQL

· Familiarity with the jQuery library and JSON syntax

· Solid understanding of developing for Responsive Designs

· Experience with XML and importing/exporting XML files

· Debugging and troubleshooting skills

· Exposure to API integrations

· Understanding of Object Oriented Principles

· Likes mentoring, coaching, and training others

PREFERRED SKILLS & TECHNOLOGIES:

· Understanding of Composer

· Understanding of KnockoutJS

· Understanding of Grid Principles

· Understanding of techniques and tools for pixel perfect development

· Works well both Magento Frontend and Magento Backend
