Teknogas (M) Sdn Bhd was first established in May 1980 as a manufacturing, distribution & trading organisation dealing in Anhydrous Ammonia Gss, Chemicals & Fertiliser for Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand & Philippines. Spanning over four decades, it has grown from strength to strength and currently a market leader in Malaysia owning large fleet of road tankers, skid tanks & cylinders/drums including 4 ammonia vessels to provide an efficient distribution & supply & related products to its customers nationally & internationally.
Job Description: Responsibilities/Qualification
· Service and Develop existing customers and developing new customers.
· Develop strategic marketing and comprehensive sales plan to achieve overall sales volume and targets.
· Promote and grasp new business development and opportunity.
· Pro-actively explore business opportunities and expand market share.
· Build good rapport with customers in targeted regions.
· Provide product, safety training presentation and solution recommendation to customers.
· Achieve measurable sales targets (KPI) and business profitability.
· Deliver Sales & Marketing creativity, initiative and solution.
· Gather market & customer information on regular basis.
· Assist and support marketing team in Company’s products selling & marketing.
· Joint visits with GM – Marketing on monthly basis.
· Provide updates to Management on market development and competitors’ activities.
· Work closely with Safety team to plan, organize and conduct training for customers.
· Work closely with Marketing department/plant to ensure inventory level in positive level to support demand.
Job Requirements
· Min. 5 years work experience in sales of chemical products.
· Experience in trading/distribution industry a plus point.
· Managerial experience required.
· Good experience and track records working in Sales or Marketing position.
· Experience managing a Sales function and complete cycle of Sales activities from prospecting, selling, closing sales, planning for continuous improvement/analysis, Customer Relationship Management.
· Good analytical/problem solving skills/abilities.
· Self-starter, ability to multi-task and handle work pressure well.
· Good command of written and spoken English, BM and Mandarin.
· Willing and able to travel frequently to visit customers and open markets.
· Proficient in IT applications - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Power Point)
· Possess own transport.

· Manage assigned customers portfolios effectively.
· Ensure high level of customer satisfaction by establishing good rapport and trust with customers.
· Possess excellent network and interpersonal skills with strong customer service orientation.
· Seek new business opportunities and expand market share.
· Work independently with Sales-Marketing team to formulate proposal and solution to meet customers requirement.
· Prepare and deliver sales/technical/safety presentations explaining products or services to existing and prospective customers.
· Effectively plan and organise sales visits. Joint visits with GM – Marketing on monthly basis.
· Assist and support marketing team in Company’s products selling & marketing.
· Provide updates to Management on market development and competitors’ activities.

· Self-starter, independent and able to work under pressure in fast-paced environment.
· Fluency in written and spoken English, BM and Mandarin to liaise with customers.
· Willing and able to travel frequently to visit customers and open markets within Malaysia or overseas.
· Computer literate - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Power Point)
· Possess own transport.
