QA Engineer for automated QA pipelines

We are looking for a skilled and responsible QA Engineer with experience of working with release pipelines and testing. Experienced with C#.NET and Python on both Linux and Windows environments, you will work with the DevOps team to build robust deployment solutions and to ensure that automated tests are both reliable and efficient. Attention to detail is vital, and being able to expand and maintain the test suites and improve the overall quality of the code is integral to the role as is your ability to document the processes involved. You will also be expected to collaborate with the team on projects to tackle complex technological infrastructure, security, and development problems. You will:

• Perform regular tests on the components to assure company standards are met including integration tests, acceptance tests, performance tests, load tests, and regression tests

• Define testing strategies and plans

• Create automatic tests to be run as part of the release process

• Be involved in the definition of tasks and provide initial test cases that must be met

• Identify edge cases and weak components

• Defect management - follow the life cycle of bugs and assign appropriate priority

• BSc (or higher) in Computer Science, IT, IS, Mathematics etc. or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of best software engineering practices and IT operations

• Basic to good knowledge and experience of software engineering (C# and Python)

• Basic to good knowledge of statistics and mathematics

• Excellent English language skills

• Experience of administering and deploying CI/CD tools such as BitBucket pipelines, Git, Jenkins

• Writing and maintaining documentation

• Good level of knowledge of Linux, Windows, Docker, Bash, Python, C#, Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, K6

• Familiarity with Jira/Bitbucket/Confluence and other Atlassian products

• Familiarity with financial products and/or markets a STRONG plus

Able to work independently, can work with an international team. Can occasionally work on short notice, even during day off.
