Description:
**Requirements:**
1. Minimum educational qualification: Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Proficiency in both spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English is required.
2. Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in the mechanical sector of the wastewater treatment industry, preferably acquired through a Polytechnic or Technical School. Experience with STP-Coagulation and Flocculation processes will be considered an advantage
Scope of works
- Responsible for PM and CM of designated systems to support critical manufacturing operations
- Knowledgeable on site safety, PPE, and standards related to systems and work performance
- Conducts scheduled maintenance on systems as documented in CMMS system; updates and reports completed activities to CMMS for all work performed
- Responsible for maintaining work history of equipment
- Documents use of spares and monitors spare inventory as part of maintenance activities
- Monitors systems and conducts minor repairs as needed documenting problems or potential issues when noted
- Maintains awareness of systems and communicates any potential issues to supervisor and/or operations team as appropriate for corrective actions
- Maintains required technical training and certifications
- Attends and contributes to daily toolbox meetings or other meetings as scheduled to communicate system status, potential issues, and coordinate with operators as needed to schedule repair and maintenance activity
- Conduct periodic monitoring on equipment that operates the systems such as pumps, motors, meters, mechanical and electrical parts.
- Conduct calendar based maintenance on equipment that operates the systems as pumps, motors, meters, mechanical and electrical parts.
- Conduct minor repairs on mechanical related problems on equipment that operates the Systems.
- Conduct checking of on-line monitoring instruments and other related units of the systems at least once a month or as per need basis.
- Provide and perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance for each equipment concern in the systems operation. Log every activity done on Equipment History Record and provide equipment analysis and recommendations. Perform spare parts management. Spare parts on TI account.
- Perform quarterly performance evaluation for upgrading and modification of equipment concern in the systems operation.
- Shall regularly attend a scheduled weekly meeting for Operations and Maintenance and/or other meetings scheduled thereof
- Chemicals management and monitor on the chemical consumption for STP Coagulation Flocculation come with report
- Conduct Jar Test / Performance Monitoring / Visual Inspection
