This role offers exposure to both domestic and multinational clients, with opportunities to work with various accounting standards, including IFRS, US GAAP, US GAAS, and UK GAAP. You will lead engagements, managing day-to-day operations and ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for global client assurance teams, ensuring the quality and timeliness of deliverables.
- Lead engagements, managing the team and allocating resources effectively.
- Ensure quality and risk management procedures are followed, reviewing GDS staff work and using organizational tools.
- Oversee workflow management, monitor performance against standards, and manage operational matters such as team utilization and budget.
- Foster strong relationships with GDS and global teams, aligning expectations and delivering value.
- Standardize review processes and implement best practices to improve engagement scope.
- Lead and motivate the GDS team, provide coaching, and conduct performance reviews.
Qualifications:
- Education: BS in Accountancy (CPA preferred, but not required).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in External Audit (Assurance).
- Leadership: At least 1 year of formal or informal leadership experience.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of audit processes, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Technical Skills: Ability to interpret and apply accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
- Project Management: Strong skills in managing audits and deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present audit findings.
