Marketing Merchandiser

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with suppliers, manufacturers, and stores to ensure proper execution of plans.
• Work with appointed contractors to ensure job required meets expectation. Work with contractors on fixtures material and workmanship. Communicate well with Graphic Designer and contractors to fulfil company requirement on logo, image etc.
• Maintains store shelves/fixtures by observing displays of company products, removing damaged or freshness-dated products, tidying store shelves, and providing optimum display of products.
• Assist field sales representatives with special promotions by setting-up displays, POP at aisle ends or shop frontage, checking daily on special promotions, observing customer reaction to special promotions, forwarding observations to management, and removing promotions at end of special promotion period.
• Perform regular store visitations to check on fixture condition, arrange rectification of damaged / malfunction fixtures, etc.
• Wholly accountable for set-up & dismantle of roadshows and events
• Ensure merchandize is sufficient, timely and appropriately displayed at designated location/area
• Must uphold merchandize guidelines as prescribed by brand principle at all times
• Need to assist in attending to issues concerning all parties of the said roadshows and events organized, like mall management and event organizer

Requirement:

• Minimum qualification – SPM
• 1-2 years’ experience in a Merchandiser role
• Must be fluent in English Language, both spoken and written
• Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin will be an added advantage
• Must be computer literate
• Able to work independently
• Experience and understanding in Marketing & Sales role will be an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: RM3,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
