Assistant Plantation Manager

Job Description

• Responsible for developing and managing the overall operation of the oil palm plantations and plan for future plantation development.
• To take control of all phases and aspects of plantation operation, including land development, cost management, human resources, worker management, planting practices and procedures, system and method, and Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) production.
• Supervising oil palm tree planting, field maintenance, and nursery management.
• Ensure that the plantation is managed to the standard in accordance with acceptable agricultural and practice and the Company's requirement.
• Modernization of the plantation work practices, including awareness of the requirements of MSPO & RSPO.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management or superior from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma in any discipline from recognized university.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
• Good people management, communication, and report writing skills.
• Willing to work and live in a plantation environment.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Candidate with oil palm planting experience will be an advantage.
