Mortgage/Loan Processor (Full WFH Setup)

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Mortgage / Loan Processing Specialist to provide backend, non-voice support to Loan Officers and mortgage teams. This role focuses on organizing, processing, and reviewing loan documentation to ensure smooth and compliant loan applications from submission to closing.

Preferred:

• Experience in mortgage or loan processing, loan officer support, or related roles
• Experience using ARRIVE (loan origination or mortgage processing tool)
• Review and verify loan applications to ensure all required information and documents are complete and accurate.
• Collect, organize, and process borrower documents such as income verification, tax returns, bank statements, and credit reports.
• Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, appraisers, and title companies to move loan files through the approval process.
• Order and review third-party reports (appraisal, title, credit, employment verification).
• Ensure loan files comply with lender guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with borrowers to request missing documents and provide updates on loan status.
• Prepare loan files for underwriting and address any conditions requested by the underwriter.
• Track loan progress and ensure deadlines are met for closing.
• Maintain accurate records and update the loan processing system or CRM.
• Assist in preparing closing documents and ensuring all conditions are cleared prior to loan funding.
