JOB PURPOSE
Quality Control Inspectors are responsible to maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products besides recording quality results. Quality Control Inspectors examine products and materials for defects or deviations from the customer or industry specifications. In addition, they conduct inspections in the first article. QC inspectors find faults in both materials and the manufacturing process. Correcting those faults ensures a better-finished product for customers. They need to ensure that the product is not in any way defective or harmful.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintained inspection gauges and standards to ensure product quality.
2. Conduct inspections across a wide variety of customized parts and assemblies with very close tolerances and specifications.
3. Determine the method of inspection and set up requirements on the first article parts.
4. Knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machines inspections and operations
5. Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
6. Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor.
7. Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
8. Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; by providing QC-related reports, rejecting reports, and inputting data into a quality database.
9. Report damage to superior and provide accurate and timely data record defects besides reporting potential problems and observations.
10. Able to read and understand customers’ drawings and specifications.
11. Able to identify suitable equipment to use based on the drawing provided.
12. Monitor operations to ensure that they meet requirements and standards.
13. Identify and handle non-conforming products.

15. Performed NDT Inspections & produced reports whenever required
16. Ensure 6S is adhered to properly and conduct audits as scheduled
17. Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
18. Any other assigned task by the superior.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
1. Minimum Diploma in Engineering or equivalent to QAQC preferred.
2. 2- 3 years of experience in Quality Control. Experience with process improvement methodologies.
3. Well organized, ability to work well under pressure, manage competing demands and meet tight datelines without compromising standards.
4. Excellent written and verbal communications skill in English; proficient in Microsoft Office
5. Knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques and tools including micrometers, Vernier calipers, bore gauges; dial indicators, scales, profile projector, and hardness tester are essentials.
SKILLS
1. Demonstrate strong analytical skills and strong interpersonal skills.
2. Good arithmetic skills are required.
3. Knowing how to operate CMM and qualified NDT Inspectors are added advantages.
4. Familiar with the use of all inspection hand gauging including but not limited to; micrometers, thread gauges, dial indicators, Vernier calipers, height gauges, internal and external thread gauges, ID/OD mics, bore gauges, and etc.
5. Experience in reading and interpreting single parts as well as assembly drawings.
6. Must be able to read GDT symbol.
7. Fundamental mechanical and mathematical inspection knowledge.
8. Quality control inspectors must understand drawings, technical documents, and manuals, ensuring that products and parts meet quality standards.
9. Able to work under pressure and perform extended working hours in order to complete the task given
