BUSINESS ANALYST

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITY

• To facilitate the design of the Company's systems and processes, including internal controls. This function will also play a key role in the definition of functional requirements for automation Provides Management and other internal contacts with reliable financial information / reports in accordance to acceptable accounting standards.
• To work closely with stakeholders to identify goals, develop best practices for data collection, and analyze current processes to determine what can be improved to achieve their desired outcome.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Financial Reporting
• 1. Business Analyst responsibilities.
• 2. Assists in defining reports that need to be automated.
• 3. Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
• 4. Perform quality assurance
• 5. Define reporting and alerting requirements
• 6. Own and develop relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration
• 7. Help design, document and maintain system processes
• 8. Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team
• 9. Communicate key insights and findings to product team
• 10. Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• Previous experience in Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance
• A degree in IT / Computer Science; Solid knowledge of business information systems
• Familiarity with programming languages like Visual Basic, C++ and Java
• Hands on experience with software development and documentation
• Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
• Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
• Solid experience in writing SQL queries
• Working knowledge of ERP or Corporatized Accounting System and business software applications
• Basic knowledge in generating process documentation and ability to explain technical details
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
• Basic knowledge in Accounting practices
• Basic Knowledge in Financial reporting
• Knowledge in Government statutory requirements

EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT

• A degree in Computer Science or Bachelor in Science in Accounting Technology or relevant field

BASIC TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

• Computer Software / ERP/Accounting System/Front End/POS System

WORK EXPERIENCE AND DURATION REQUIREMENTS

• 3 to 6 months training of work in the same capacity, experience gained from the same industry is an advantage.

LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
CPA/CIA preferred but not necessary
