TAX ACCOUNTANT

Job Description

• Under the supervision of the Finance and Tax Supervisor, the position requires a detail-oriented, in-depth knowledge of accounting procedures and time management skills. The position is responsible in managing and handling tax related concerns that will help in promoting company’s financial well-being.

• Prepare tax returns, necessary paper works and reports.
• Assess and resolve difficult tax issues and identify solutions.
• Maintain and manage company’s tax database.
• Determine tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profits.
• Ensure compliance by providing needed information and documents to BIR.
• Offer assistance and guidance during audits.
• Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden
• Track industry trends and changes related to taxes
• Prepare month, quarterly and annual tax reports.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or any related field.
• At least 6 months experience working as an accountant or any similar role.
• Good understanding in MS Office and accounting software
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and book keeping processes
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Additional certification is a plus.
