Job Description
-Assist the Manager with the daily operations of the accounting department including:
● month and end-year process
● accounts payable and receivable
● cash receipts
● general ledger
● payroll and utilities
● treasury, budgeting
● cash forecasting
● revenue and expenditure variance analysis
● capital assets reconciliations
● bank account statement reconciliations
● check runs
● fixed asset activity
● debt activity
-Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
-Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
-Coordinate and complete annual audits
-Provide recommendations
-Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
-Meet financial accounting objectives
-Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
-Prepare attachments and process monthly and annually transactions needed for SEC and BIR compliance
-Timely maintenance in updating accounting records
-Label electronic and paper file maintenance to be able to locate a document or recall protocol at a moment's notice.
-Render additional Service as authorized in exigency of the service which shall be compensated accordingly.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance related courses
-At least 2 years relevant experience
-Expert in Book keeping
-Knowledge in variety of computer software application
-Knowledge in various government agencies specifically BIR
-Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to be flexible, make decisions, exercise sound judgment and use initiative.
-Requires continual self-review and planning priorities and deadlines
